I just finished sewing this quilted top and it turned out great. It's definitely not for the faint of heart or disorganized quilters as it was quite challenging. Judy's instructions are very detailed so read them over and over again! Also visit their website and look for template fixes that will be helpful. She also has some tutorials on YouTube showing how to put certain sections together and they have been very helpful. I cannot stress enough that you absolutely must mark the registration points accurately! I didn't do it for the first few sections and getting those damn dots together gave me a real headache. Once I marked the points accurately, everything changed. The points are perfect. This was my first Quiltworx pattern and now I'm hooked. I learned so much and improved my skills that I ordered 2 more Judy patterns. If you've never cut out pieces of paper this probably isn't the right pattern to start with, but Judy has some simpler, smaller patterns that are a good place to start. Overall, I'm glad I took it on, even though it was REALLY scary and intimidating at times. The confidence, extra skills, and sense of accomplishment are well worth the effort.
