The construction seems strong, light and with lots of ribs for better warming (no scientific research done so I can't say for sure :) ). Comes with self-adhesive foam which was very nice. I had to bend the intake/exhaust pipes to fit, but it wasn't too bad. The reason for the four stars is twofold: 1. The dimensions of the core are actually a little different from the original heater, it was a bit wider so when fitted into the airflow/exhaust box it was a bit tight, and it actually was slightly shorter but the inlet The included foam tape made up for the difference nicely.2. IT WAS NOT A BRACKET with mounting holes. It wasn't difficult to remove the old bracket from the old heater core and glue it to this new one, but it would have been nice to know this in advance. So now you know :)
