Works for me

This may be beginner's luck, but yesterday I made my first four wax wick candles from this set and I'm now enjoying the wonderful scent from my first test fire. I used glass Oui yogurt containers and my own fragrance blends that I make using essential oils and fragrance chemicals that I buy from Perfumer's Apprentice. I've found that some of my blends are more suitable for home fragrances than perfumes and body oils, so I bought this wax on a whim. I know you have to let soy candles dry for a week or more to get a good cold and heat effect, but all four of my candles (made with four different scent blends) have a cold effect after 24 hours, and the ones I burn properly now has a nice hot litter. I melted the wax and added my aroma at 185 degrees and stirred for two minutes before pouring into jars. I think I found a new hobby!

Pros
  • CANDLE MAKING SUPPLIES KIT: One (1) 10 lb bag of flaked soy wax for candles, 100 cotton candle wicks, 2 metal wick centering tools and 100 dots of wick glue. Natural soy wax flakes for candle making are easier to measure and melt faster than regular soy wax flakes, making them ideal for combining with coloring flakes. Candle color flakes blend cleanly and completely with no discoloration or clumps.
