I have a 48" x 15" ironing board. I could get it easy enough. After steaming it for 15 minutes I couldn't smooth out the creases or convince it to lay flat. I'll update this review if it levels off after a day but for now I wanted to share my first impressions. I'm attaching a picture showing it's lumpy, although the lighting doesn't really capture the creases. Perhaps a longer board would have helped the situation, but the sizing info says it will fit boards "up to" 54 inches in length. The other thing I notice is that my iron, while clean, doesn't glide smoothly across the fabric and you really don't want the fabric of your case interfering with the iron's movement when you press the edges of your clothes. Finally, the case I'm replacing has drawstrings under the board to keep it taut. This one doesn't have them. It's just an elastic hem meant to keep it in place. The exposed foam I expect will help keep it from shifting if I ever get it to lay flat enough to be usable. Update: Never got to use this and went back to our old cover
