The product is so light and wrinkle-free that it simply lies on the table like a crumpled hamburger wrap. This is in stark contrast to the feel of a mouse pad (weight for a smooth look and feel). It slides and slides and has terrible curves. In no case does the entire surface touch the table. The material is incredibly cheap and looks like I have a piece of Ikea packaging laid out on my desk. I wouldn't use it for anything. If I were to see this item in a store I would assume it might be some sort of insert for some sort of felt board. I would never have used it as a table cushion.
