I wanted a closed cage for my small dog. I like this one, inexpensive, very durable. Easily opens for use and folds for easy storage. My dog is 16lbs and thought it might be too big but with her pillow it is perfect. It is shielded on both the sides and the front. therefore she never feels alone as she can see everything. The front opening is a flap that closes with a zipper. My dog has never been in a cage so I was afraid she would hate him. But she loved him and itched to penetrate him and now he sleeps inside him every night. I didn't want a hard plastic box that takes up a lot of space and is difficult to move. This one is perfect to take with you everywhere. I highly recommend this product for your pet or for a late-night pet visit (never an "accident" at night!
