Review on MWXNE 2000 Watts Power Inverters: Pure Sine Wave Car Power Adapter with LCD Display, Remote Control, 3 Outlets, and Dual 2.4A USB Charging Ports - 12V DC to 110V AC Efficiency at its Best by Dave Neal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have 3 solar panels and 2 batteries 12V 45Ah to use with this inverter

And this inverter for me is the heart of a fast and portable off-grid system. I haven't installed it yet, but I probably will when I get to this point to refurbish a small, old caravan I bought cheap. As kids, my parents took us on camping trips with tents and then switched to a truck and trailer with a bed, but both the tent and trailer were pretty "wet" by today's standards, and I'm not that young a kid more. I like having lights and a fridge and hot water when I'm on the more primitive campgrounds. Tied to batteries (charged by solar panels), this inverter gives me the energy I need. I kept this as a portable system in case my house went down due to a storm or some other problem (like a car crash that knocked out a transformer) - with batteries connected to this inverter I'm all I have left to use can my microwave, plug in an electric skillet, even plug in an induction cooker and cook dinner. I have several other power stations that I can use with my laptop and charge my phone, but this inverter allows me to use more traditional devices with a lot more power than other power stations can't handle (most are 200 watts or less). This 3000w inverter can run almost any higher wattage device, although what I will use during a power outage will also depend on the amount of power stored in my batteries, but it is best to have an inverter that I can actually use can choose what I want to have to connect. This easily connects to my batteries and the display allows me to see at a glance the available stored energy (in my batteries) as well as how much power is coming out (what's plugged in and using battery power). This inverter (along with my batteries and solar panels) gives me a sense of security so I have more control when camping or when there is a power outage at home.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some errors
