Every fall we go camping on long weekends when nighttime lows are typically 30 to 40 degrees. We black-bag almost everything in our house, and up until this year we had to bag blankets by stuffing them into every crack in our minivan to pack enough. This year we bought these bags saying we only need them there and at home. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they vacuum for several days packed to the max and are still in great condition. I'm going to use them now to store all those freshly washed blankets in the linen closet to see how long they last. I think it's important to mention that I didn't use a vacuum to seal my bags because I knew we didn't have a vacuum when we set up camp. I did all this with the hand pump on. The photo I shared is the first few bags being packed which happened to be in the background of a photo I took of my kids. Three vertical X-Jumbo bags held 4-5 blankets each.
