Review on Pepper Grinder Stainless Steel Light by Jeff Aulia

Fun and Effective with Salt and Pepper Mill Sets

We've had hand-operated pepper grinders and sometimes grinder-style salt shakers for years and they work great. But I stumbled across them when deciding to get my wife some kitchen gadgets for her birthday and they fit my purpose. I'm glad I did because they do the grinding and shaking job. They have lids to keep dslt debris, pepper and crumbs off the table. I find them annoying, but they work as intended. I used regular table salt in a salt shaker and it worked fine, but it was actually meant for coarse sea salt or kosher salt. The pepper mill is great and takes a few seconds to make just the right amount of pepper. Both shakers have a light that illuminates as you grind, which is super useful for seeing how much pepper you've put out, but this doesn't work with salt. The only thing I don't like is that despite their size, they don't really hold much and need to be refilled quite often. Much more common than our manual pepper grinders and salt shakers. This is a very minor complaint. Overall, these devices are attractive and fun, and I would buy them again as gifts, although I think they're a bit pricey for what they are.
