Well I've had it for 8 months and during that time I'd say it was fine. It couldn't get the small bathroom very hot, but it at least took the edge off. But now it's dangerous. I turned it on this morning and didn't feel anything, but I didn't pay much attention because I was busy preparing for a new day. A few minutes later I smell burnt. At first I thought my roommate had re-lit the toast or something. But no, the smell of burning grew stronger. I immediately raised my hand to the heater and found that the air wasn't blowing, but the closer I got to it, the stronger the smell of burning. I immediately turned it off and felt the case hot to the touch. So not only does it stop working, the "safety feature" doesn't work because it's just in case the heater falls off. Thank God I was in the room with him the whole time!
