Review on 🚐 BUG-GUARD BG520B: American Designed RV 12V LED Flood Porch Light with Color Modes - Bright 220 Lumen Amber or 520 Lumen White Light by Michael Hudson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bright but poorly designed in several areas and not waterproof. There are cheaper options.

This is "good" and since it is mounted I will not remove it until it is out of service. Two problems. 1. The external switch is useless and should be removed as using the RV's internal switch goes from white to yellow so you now have an external switch for someone to turn off. Also this flashlight is not waterproof. I installed mine, the RVT attached the back to the wall, I took the advice and put a few drops of super glue on the lens gasket to hold it in place once the lens is installed. (Otherwise there is NO way to keep the seal in place with the light on the wall - very poor design) 3 days later (RTV was dry) I washed the trailer wall with a fog hose. The next day I noticed that the switch's rubber cover was flooded with water. I'll probably buy a cheaper version if it dies from water ingress.
