A contractor who came to replace one of my windows sprayed Armor All on the vinyl window rail to help the window slide better when opening and closing. He said that all contractors use it for this purpose and that it works better than WD-40 on squeaky door hinges etc. I just bought it - opened it up and went around the house to put it on all the door hinges. my creaking doors - and let me tell you. it worked wonderfully! As soon as I put it on the noisiest and squeakiest door in our house, the noise stopped immediately. It worked great on all of our doors and was a lot cleaner than trying to spray WD-40 as Armor All is a thicker liquid - almost like gel in a spray bottle. I went around with a paper towel that I had sprayed Armor All on and wiped down all of my vinyl window rails to make the windows slide more easily. I highly recommend this product for squeaky doors, vinyl window vents, and decorating the interior of my cars and tires. :)
