This product may appear good at first glance, but it is not. This sand is very harmful to reptiles even if accidentally eaten and has been scientifically proven to cause intestinal problems. My vet says she had to euthanize many of the reptiles using this sand. It provides little to no calcium boost (I would sprinkle your reptile's food for that). Around the sand is very maintenance-intensive. I would recommend using reptile rug, it is odorless and very easy to clean. In general, DO NOT use this product.
