While the pump is fairly well made, I've found it has some operational issues. The unit was difficult to fill and service even with the check/bottom valve installed and operating at 2 to 3 feet of vertical lift. As you would expect from a foreign production, the syntax and grammar of the instructions are not very good and you have to distinguish the meaning. One case I've found is misidentifying the suction and discharge ports, they switch in the directions I got. From above - injection, in front - suction. Being very knowledgeable about pumps I went with what I knew of the design and had no problems, just noticed it when looking at the instructions for other possible uses. For the price, it's probably worth it for some applications. I'll try to add some extra fittings to solve the filling problem. When it worked, it moved water at good pressure and at a constant rate close to rated specs.
