I wear women's size 9.5, I ordered women's size 10 and they are quite large. Without socks it flutters loosely on my leg. I think a women's size 9 would be best for my 9.5 feet. I either wear them with 3mm neoprene socks underneath or neoprene socks and wool socks underneath. My feet get cold easily, and when they're cold I'm not happy. With wool and neoprene socks, my feet get toasted on my SOT kayak in hot weather. The boots feel solid, the sole feels solid, the zipper feels very solid. Inspires a lot of confidence. I use them for kayaking in winter and they are perfect. The outsole is grippy on wet rocks. When kayaking, I like that the sole goes "up" on the back so that when I put my heel on the kayak, the sole is under my heel. This is one of the cheapest boots of its kind, but they don't feel cheap in any way, they feel like good quality.
