Absolutely wonderful! I bought it for my 4.5 year old son. In the winter we spend a lot of time outdoors (Northern Kentucky). This is the most amazing, perfect complement to his winter layers. A scarf is not required. It is warm, cuddly, closes off the back of the head, which has always remained unprotected between hat and coat. It fits his ears and face so well that there is almost no gap, making it almost impossible for cold air to flow around his ears. It's so windy and cold here this year! But it's amazing. I liked it so much that I tried to find something similar for myself, but so far without success! And he loves it. He's picky. VOCAL about it but he says it's cozy and he looks like a ninja! Win win from this mother!
