I bought a used one that was defective, where when charging, the button does not light up to indicate charging or full charge. But it does work, when charged up and unplugged, the button will flash red when it is on.The light is not a circle of light, it is a halo, leaving the center unlit. I don't know if it runs at full power because it is not as bright as how I've seen the others say it is. The manual says the light says it will automatically power down to 50% after 3 minutes as to not damage the led, but it stays the same power on mine no matter what.The light is a grey color, and it lights up pet urine bright yellow. It will light up everything in your house! You will see water stains EVERYWHERE, on the walls, around the bathroom sinks and toilet. Pretty nice tool if you want to clean things effectively.These are way better than the 5 dollar blacklight flashlights, which is more of a purple light instead of bluish.
