This adapter works exactly like it says. All you need to do is insert the cassette into your system and plug the cord into your headphone jack to play music.However, mine makes a continuous ticking noise like a normal cassette would do when its restarting. Unfortunately this does it at least once per second. It's not that loud and the music generally covers it up, but still sometimes can be annoying.Other than the ticking noise this works fine, but if you can find one that doesn't tick I would go with that considering they all work pretty much the same.
