Review on SITKA Gear Timberline Optifade Subalpine by Jeff Jones

The spring season 2019 in Turkey in Kentucky was much colder than previous seasons. My lightweight turkey hunting pants just weren't heavy enough to provide the much-needed insulation I needed. I chose these pants even though they didn't match the early Kentucky spring foliage. This turned out to be a good decision, especially when hunting turkeys. Built-in knee pads and a reinforced pant fit were essential for successful tracking. I found it much easier and more discreet to just kneel without stretching out and remove the seat cushion from the back of the pack. I could comfortably kneel and chase this Tom for 20-30 minutes. Great SITKA product! You might want to consider adding spring colors to these pants and I'll buy the first pair you make. Thanks again!
