Review on Airdog Non Filter Purifier Washable Energy Saving by Heather Wilson

Background: I have allergies and even got really sick at night from sprays and pills so I bought a Dyson from BBB. While I liked the look, the app, and the information provided, I didn't like the idea of buying filters. It also didn't turn out to be as strong as I expected for the price, so I took a chance when I saw the Airdog. Device: At first I wasn't sure what to make of the Airdog. because it's like going from a Mercedes to a Prius with no frills. While the Airdog is a bit chunky, definitely not aesthetically pleasing, and also huge, that wasn't the reason I bought it. The device itself is powerful, fast and performs its main function well, since I woke up less busy in the morning. Other apps don't offer a countdown or visual indicator of how dirty or how much time is left before you need to clean or replace the filter. There is only a very small notification on the device that seems outdated / unintelligent. My device never filled the C notification to clean, it just started popping, buzzing and the fan rattling so I deleted it based on Youtube's instructions which seemed to solve the problem. Sleep Mode: You also can't turn off the green light if you want to run the air purifier at higher settings at night outside of sleep mode. I thought that maybe the light would change color from green, but I didn't see that. It was difficult to connect the app over Wi-Fi, and by the time iOS 13 came out, what few features were gone (they fixed full disclosure in about 48 hours, but I had to contact support via email). that it eliminates the need to buy filters and as a main function does what it is supposed to. I hope there will be a software update that will add more features but I bought a first generation device which I never did and this is a reminder why. I wish the trial was a bit longer as I would most likely return it after around 45 days.
