It helps the rear suspension but is not easy to install

The reason I gave it four stars overall is that it wasn't easy to install The time amounts about 2 hours. not at all. My setup was for a 2013 Tacoma 4x4. In the beginning it took me over 30 minutes to cut each of the rear suspension bumpers. Mounting the brackets is easy, but mounting them over the rear axle is not. Apparently not all the bolts matched the nuts included in the kit. They are quite difficult to twist and at some point they felt that the thread was damaged. I think it would probably be better if thread lock was applied to the bolts rather than to nuts and bolts that are difficult to turn. Once the airbags are installed they cannot be fully secured to the chassis or the remaining brackets/bolts will not line up perfectly. The top/bottom screws/brackets can be tightened, set them in place and loosely fit the rest under the chassis, then start tightening them bit by bit if you want them to stay in place. The airline is made of hard plastic, which is not easy to unwind and has little flexibility. There's a heat shield panel to protect the passenger airbag from exhaust fumes but it doesn't seem like a very good design and while it tries to protect the airbag it does leave the airline exposed to exhaust heat, let's see how that performs over time Time. So once everything is in place, with a few pounds of air, it adds pretty good rear clearance. I believe the back of my truck lifted at least 1 inch at about 15 psi. Despite these small drawbacks, I am satisfied with this product.

Pros
  • Stabilizes the car when loaded and maximizes the vehicle's cargo capacity
Cons
  • Long delivery time
