I've had this chair for about a month now and I think it's great. Assembly was easy, even with one hand. (I had a sprained arm/wrist.) I don't know why anyone had problems with the assembly. You just need to slowly tighten each bolt in turn, as you would mount a tire on your car. You can't try to screw one screw all the way in and think the rest will fit. FYI - I'm a female, I'm in my 40's, of average weight and height. The chair makes a very robust and very comfortable impression. I use it to sit at my desk and work on my laptop for hours. For $70 with free shipping, this chair exceeded my expectations and I've been looking for this for a long time. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to everyone.
