Review on Maximize Space & Organization with the Prepac Double Wall Mounted Storage Cabinet in Black by Mark Kolipano

The box arrived crumbling, sawdust seeped past one corner. Opened the box to find all the parts were covered in sawdust which was very dirty and probably unfit for inhalation. None of the parts are labeled which meant I had to take it apart halfway through when I realized something was wrong. Because of this, assembly took too long. How difficult would it be to label them? There is no screw hole connecting the center to the top/bottom, so I used my own nail for that. It was also very difficult to get the backings in correctly so they don't overlap, I think they were cut wrong. It's also a hanging item so I figured there would be a good mounting system you could use on any wall. -- instead I got two pieces of wood that should interlock and be hung on studs that you need to find studs for. I'm not sure how two interlocking pieces of wood can be a fastening system. So I might end up spending extra money on a real mount for it. Overall I am disappointed with the cost and hassle of this product. Assembled it looks good and has enough space for many DVD/Blu-ray otherwise I would only give 1 star Edit 9/2018: 5 years and a big step later this prepack is still intact! We were unable to remove the wall mount system (which worked surprisingly well) from the wall after installation, so the mount system had to break on moving day. That being said the rack still works great and survived the trucking adventure from California to Washington. So yes, at first it was painful and incredibly frustrating, but after that everything was fine.
