Although it works, my monitor arrived with fingerprints on the screen and static film barely hanging on the screen. To me it's like someone's comeback. I'm not crazy about paying full price for something that doesn't look new. I'll try it in the next few days. I hope there are no major problems. The picture quality on the screen is very good when connected to my Canon 80D. I will update if necessary. UPDATE 2/17/2019 I was finally able to use it at a local indoor event and it worked flawlessly. I used another battery that I bought as a spare just to test the monitor and battery. The Viltrox DC-70 II not only performed as it should, but also attracted a lot of attention from other photographers. Viltrox never lost the camera signal unless it went into sleep mode to save battery when I didn't use the camera for about five minutes. Like many reviewers, I'm not thrilled with the cheap feel of the plastic mount and would have preferred a metal version. Overall the Viltrox monitor worked very well and was a huge improvement over the 3 inch monitor on my Canon 80D.
