Review on Xiaomi Mijia Handheld Vacuum Cleaner (Global), white by Barbara Cholewa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

3 people live in the house, a rather big dog and two cats. There are no carpets. I try to vacuum at least once every two days. The brush roller collects very well even the smallest dust. I did an experiment: after cleaning Bosch with a container brush with a regular “non-turbo” brush (and I have one of the best), I walked the new Xiaomi across the floor. The result was surprising: he collected about 50-60 ml of dust from 80 squares. I think that this technique greatly facilitates and simplifies our daily household life! I recommend. Thanks to everyone who leaves specific, substantive and detailed product reviews on various resources. It really helps to make a choice. And one more thing: the SKV4060GL model indicated in the description is the same as the SCWXCQ01RR. These names appear at the same time even at one of any seller, and the vacuum cleaner is the same. And the price is different! I tried to break through this situation, but the online managers could not explain anything. In fact, when I bought it, I found it was SKV4060GL printed on the barcode of the package - the box, and SCWXCQ01RR on the nameplate of the dust itself. On the manufacturer's website, I downloaded a passport in which the model SCWXCQ01RR was listed. I think that on the barcode of the packaging (box) it is not the model that is clogged, but something else. Hence the confusion.

Pros
  • Ease of use: mobile, maneuverable, lightweight. The cleaning quality is excellent. The power of the vacuum cleaner in normal mode is enough to collect wool, dust, sand and small debris. Large, light debris can get stuck in the brush inlet. I don't even use turbo. Ease of maintenance: cleaning of the container and filters is super (this model has one of the best air filtration systems). Everything is washable and no replacement is required. Nothing sticks or clings to the pile of the rotating roller of the electric brush: after cleaning, I simply clean it with a vacuum cleaner with a replaceable dust nozzle (with bristles). Comes with very useful replacement nozzles. Everything is easy to assemble and remove. The build quality is at a high level. Attachments can be stored on the charging base. Convenient vertical parking and charging: there is a charging dock. It was included in the package, although the manufacturer positions it as an option. Other users write that you can buy it separately on Aliexpress. Also, you can charge without a docking station, if it is more convenient for someone to store it without regular parking. A full charge takes 3.5 hours. Charging is enough for 30 minutes of cleaning in normal mode. Also, like most of those who have not yet decided on the choice of model, I thought that this was very little. But in practice it turned out that this is enough, because I walk 80 sq. M on the floors without carpets (there are none) in 10-15 minutes.
Cons
  • I wouldn't classify it as a disadvantage, but rather as a feature to which you need to adapt. On the main electric brush, fleecy strips are located on the bottom on three sides. They are probably designed to better pick up debris and concentrate under the brush. And so it happens. And since I have animals, wool is partially collected on them and it must be periodically removed by hand, because. it won't bounce off by itself and won't be sucked in by the vacuum cleaner. I got used to it: I easily remove it with my hand (it does not cling tightly to the bristles of the strips), throw it on the floor in a bunch and run into it with a rotating brush of a vacuum cleaner. CLARIFY! Basically, almost all the wool is collected with a brush roller and tightened with a vacuum cleaner. On the bristly strips, it lingers only partially when you lead the brush towards yourself and the wool gets under these bristles. Perhaps it is enough to do such cleaning only once, at the end of cleaning, but I do this periodically during cleaning. To prevent this from happening, you need to keep the brush forward all the time so that the rotating roller is the first to "meet" the wool. In general, you can experiment. But even with the described manipulations, as I already wrote, I walk 80 sq. M in just 10-15 minutes. This is beyond my expectations! The disadvantages can only be attributed to a non-removable battery, which, if necessary, it will probably be difficult to replace it yourself and will need to be carried to the service.
