Ideal for viewing prints
My monitor is calibrated to the same white point as these lamps. Viewing prints in this light makes it easier to color match. They're fairly low wattage and don't give out as much light as the big bulbs, but the big ones are too bright for table lamps. I haven't had any problems with it after almost a year of daily use.
