Review on π Metra Axxess AX-GMLAN29-SWC Data Interface with Steering Wheel Control (SWC) for 2006 and Newer GM Vehicles by Brandon Garrett
Not an easy task, suitable for automobiles and automotive electronics
A very difficult system to install, especially when trying to install an Asian Android head unit. The steering wheel controls or the rear view camera cannot be made to work. I don't use Navi or OnStar so I can't confirm how they work or if they work. I'm glad the factory amp and all speakers are working, but I'm very disappointed that the rear camera isn't working. I'll double check everything a later day to find out.
