Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience: KnuKonceptz KCA Complete 4 Gauge Amp Installation Kit by Richard Nonya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I recommend this cable set for 1000W RMS and below!

This cable kit is honestly very good, I'm using a 1000w RMS Sundown X-8 with a SoundStream P1.1000D. The wire grip is just perfect! Also, it's nice that all parts are included, to be honest there are too many extras like binding posts and such, but it's by no means a bad thing. The remote control cable that sits between the RCA jacks is really handy and easy to hide, it's also harder to break as it connects to other cables, while most remote control cables are separate and easy to disconnect because they are so small are. The fuse is good too, it's 80 amps (it seems like that's what the specs say, but I wanted to add it just in case). I only have 2 complaints and they are small, specific to my scenario. Firstly the speaker wire is too thin for my setup, it's 14 gauge wire which obviously CANNOT handle 1000 watts RMS haha (I chose 8 gauge wire for my setup just to be on the safe side to be, 10-gauge would be sufficient) . Second, the ground wire is a bit short, if they had included a 5ft ground it would have been the perfect kit, but it was still long enough for my needs. Again, both are specific to me, I don't expect most people buying this kit to drive the number of watts and amps I'm using through this cable, so a 14 gauge would be fine, and into the most cars (I drive a Volvo 240 Wagon) The 3 foot cable is perfectly fine. Overall I'm very happy with this cable and I think you will be too if you get one. I just don't recommend pumping anything over 1000W RMS through it. that would be too much and could blow the fuse (1000 watts RMS is almost 80 amps over that length, of course this is just an estimate and the amperage depends on the length of the cable and what not).
