At first I was impressed with the quality of the microscope for the price. The stand is sturdy and the height and zoom are easily adjustable. trigger display. This is a typical magnification for this type of microscope, so don't expect 1200x magnification from another microscope in this price range. It's good enough for electronics, troubleshooting, etc., but not at the cellular level if that's what you're looking for. For this you need a real microscope. Another false hype: I initially struggled with it not working with the 1GB SD card I had, but it does work with a 32GB Class 10 SD card. I soon found that the camera in this thing is far from HD, let alone 12 MP. They do some serious upscaling to fool customers. Anything over 2MP (1080P) distorts the image vertically, making round objects appear oval. If you take 2MP images at the highest undistorted resolution and display them on a monitor with the same 2MP resolution, they should look crystal clear, but they are grainy, indicating that this is a low-resolution image acts that has been increased.
