Good build quality. Be very careful with the insertion gap.

I liked the price and the assembly of the product. I used it to build a pluggable truck bed mount for two gravel bikes. There were 2 questions.1. The mounting height is lower than the grip on my Cannondale Topstone thru axle. This isn't a problem for my design, but if I were to install it in a stake pocket I wouldn't be able to tighten the axle.2. There may be a tolerance issue with the removable insert. My fork just wouldn't fit with a 12x100 insert. The diameter of the mounting inserts was too large. I used a diamond sharpening plate and tool to evenly remove material from the OD. Once I got the diameter right (after about 30 minutes) I found that the inserts were too long. Again I went with the plates to trim the inserts. It took about an hour of careful trial and error to make sure the length was right, but it all fell into place in the end. The cross-threaded thru-axle on the fork is a major hazard when working with oversized fork mounts. Instead, I considered the possibility that the tolerances on my bike were the problem. I've since bought a Kuat Dirtbag mount because I was a little nervous about messing my fork up on the MBP mount. The dirtbag fits the 12x100 perfectly without modifications, so I'm inclined to think the MBP model has a potential tolerance issue.
