I bought a webcam without a protective case. They weren't right for him (I couldn't find them) but I knew it. I bought these with the intention of only sticking to the front of the webcam, knowing the holes were just enough for the webcam to see through unhindered. I used some household gorilla glue, attached it to the front of my webcam for 2 hours and voila! security cover! They work well - stay up during use and the hinge mechanism seems to work with no issues.
