To be honest this is my third Bando mug and I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky with them but I keep buying replacements because the mugs start to break pretty quickly and break. I wash by hand but use these mugs every day at work. I think the biggest issue I had was with the lids, even if you screw them on loosely they seem to tighten up as the day goes on or something and you need to be a bit stronger when you're running for cover. With normal use, hand wash only, no dripping, etc. Every cup I sipped sipper style broke on top. I really like the designs but for the price they are short lived in my experience which is very unfortunate.
