I traded my OEM class 3 clutch for this class 4. To put it mildly, I'm not impressed. The safety chain loops are junk. I assume they are for emergencies. I don't see her like that. These are attachment points for dragging things. Mine are now very elongated and point backwards. I bent them both and tried to make them the same. The OEM clutch (Class III) has been subjected to much worse testing for more than 20 years. The clutch was installed in about a week. Installation was easy. The main pipe is 2-1/2" square. The build quality is also poor compared to OEM, with heavier welds and processing methods and an obvious 3-1/2" square pipe, which is much larger. I got it for review Bought it. The lower rated OEM is significantly better. The only difference from the OEM is the location of the mounting holes. I could see how this class 4 could be better, but I'm stretching. To be honest I knew they were bending would before plugging them in. I can't have a hitch I can't handle, I find it more ergonomic now anyway.
