Not Very Good, Better Than Nothing
This product was purchased to attempt to block the backflow of water and suds from a 1" OD washing machine drain hose into a 2" ID sanitary drain pipe. The plug was loose on both the hose and pipe and required tape around the ring of the plug to completely seal both connections. Also, as others have commented, I only needed a fork. Excess plugs end up in a landfill. In fact, it would be better if the seller supplied these connectors in different diameters, which would increase the likelihood that one of them would be suitable for a specific application.
