I can't say for sure if this voltage converter will work until I take it abroad. It is designed to use your US 110V equipment on an international power grid and prevent overloading when connected to a higher voltage abroad. Do not use international devices in the United States. A pure sine wave also provides better device performance. When I first inspected this kit, I was impressed. It comes with all the necessary plug adapters. I like that it has USB ports and a built in fan to prevent overheating. I've used some pretty creepy converters that crackle, buzz and get hot and I'm hoping this device is safer. It also automatically detects your devices for optimal charging. The listing clearly states that it is not compatible with devices that draw a lot of power, such as laptops. B. hair dryers, coffee machines and kettles. it's a trip again!
