Let me start by saying I'm an ASE certified technician. I specialize in Lexus/Toyota. I have a very mechanical disposition and am also very familiar with small electronics. This isn't my first rodeo. I have received and installed the device. Everything worked great with the MCU update. This device worked perfectly for about 6 months. More recently I had an issue where the screen was moving away from the mic hole. I contacted the company through Amazon and asked for assistance. I ended up being told it would cost $100 and I would have to install a new screen. I have asked several times why this is not under warranty and they have attributed it to the iPhone screen being under warranty. I said it was not damage which to my knowledge is not covered under warranty. But this is a manufacturing and design flaw. They offered to send me a new screen if I post a good product review on Amazon as the rep has a quota to meet with reviews. I decided to take responsibility to see if I could resolve the situation on my own. I would still have to analyze the block, right? As I said above, this is not my first rodeo. I keep digging. What I have found is a very poorly built machine with the ribbon cables breaking as soon as you touch them. I reassembled the device by attaching the glue behind the screen. All is well. I turn it back on but nothing appears on the screen. I click on the screen as if using it and it responded but no image. This is the worst company and design I have ever come across. They try to get you to give you a good review to justify a purchase you've already made. I assure you that I will never buy or recommend this company again.
