I really wanted this cloth to work, our kitchen is all stainless steel. So usually use a natural oil cleaner which basically polishes our steel while cleaning. But it's not cheap, so using these water towels sounded great. So I spent a lot of time using a degreasing spray to get all the grease and old food out of my cupboards - it took a lot of time and work. Finally got the original stainless steel cabinets in a lighter colour, looked fantastic. Of course, until someone touches it, the oils will leave a trail from your fingers or dirty hands. So I have to use my new fabric! Food scraps and dirt stains removed, but the oil left a mark! This garment does not remove oil. I followed all instructions carefully. So now I'm back to the oil polish as someone is always not using a pen and touching stainless steel or leaving oil and food marks on it and you can see every little mark. In the photo of the tall cabinet left after using the rag, you can see that all of the stains around the handles are left. In another photo I cleaned the cabinet drawer, stains are visible, then I polished it with oil, the oil looks much nicer, I touched it several times but I still can't see any fingerprints.
