Review on ABUS 12KS Security Chain Sleeve by Will Micheals

This is a very good chain, the links are hardened, the welds look very good and the nylon cover looks strong enough to last a while. My problem with this chain is that mine is not 1/2 inch as listed. Maybe it's 1/2 inch if you measure it on the welded part of the chain, but the links themselves aren't. Actually, my peweg 7/16" safety chain is a hair thicker than this Abus chain. I really needed the 1/2" thick chain or I would have kept it for myself. I have attached some photos of this Abus chain versus a safety chain with a 7/16 inch Peweg chain. In the photo, the Abus chain is gold in color and the Peweg chain is silver.
