I think due to poor construction it broke around the screws.

delivered quickly, log splitter worked again straight away. I think due to the poor design it broke due to vibration and thin metal around the screws.

Pros

replaces old Briggs models # 493293, 493006, 696419

Cons

dubious purchase for the elderly
