I ordered a 13x13 set and 11x11 storage cubes in grey. The 11x11 smelled of sour milk and vomit. I was planning to use the trash cans in my dressing room and as a result the whole dressing room smelled like vomit. I tried airing out the trash cans by leaving them outside on the covered porch for four days and the smell never went away. I'm sad I can't use them because they are very durable and I love the look of them. Note that the 13x13 bins didn't have the vomit smell that the smaller ones did. But I have to send both back and get another matching set. I'm not sensitive to smells, but I'll tell you, they smell VERY BAD. I can't imagine inhaling these chemicals being good for you.
