Review on 🧦 SIGVARIS Women’s Style Sheer 780 Open Toe Compression Calf-High Socks - 20-30mmHg by Derek Jha

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The size does not match the size (and must be specified with the product)

A size table would be very, very helpful here. I had to search the internet for a Sigvaris size chart that would tell me what size to order, which is very important for compression stockings. When I finally found it, I used the same measurements and sizing criteria I've used with previous compression stockings and calf wraps (which I bought from at least 5 different manufacturers last year and they all fit - and all were less than half the price ). this). My calf circumference was at the top of the small range, but in the middle of the medium range, and my ankle was on the bottom of the medium range, but still about 1 inch above the small. Based on that I ordered Medium - I figured it was pretty safe as I've taken sizes from small to large from other brands (usually smaller unisex, larger for women) and I had a bit of an issue with the run limit. on my ankle when I altered this measurement a bit to get the right size for my calf. You are huge to me. Either the sizing chart was completely wrong, or I received a pair that was either 1-2 sizes too big or 1-2 compression ratios lower than what was listed on the box. They don't baggy, they hold up, but most of my regular nylon stockings fit tighter than these (as do my socks). I'm not sure I'm getting even the lowest compression levels (8-12mmHg) from them, let alone the advertised 20-30 - and I can't imagine who could. I'm about 5'5" and about 170 when I got them - by no means slim - and I would have to go down 2 sizes to XSmall at best (if they make one) to even come close to the advertised compression. They're loose enough not to stay on my feet, they roll on from the bottom edge, which is not only uncomfortable but also dangerous, as I found the second time I wore it: walking down the carpeted stairs, I put my foot on the Nosing the step and as soon as I shifted my weight my foot slid to the right through the easy-to-open lace. The next thing I remember is standing at the bottom of the stairs with a stocking and lots of new bruises.I'm already slipped on the stairs in stockings, but usually the stockings and feet stay together so it's easier for me to find my balance. with sandals, which is why I bought them in the first place. (yes, I have to wear compression stockings all the time.) Here's what I get when I decide to buy expensive compression stockings; From now on I'll stick with the cheap ones. They get 2 stars because they feel comfortable and of good quality when they fit and because they come with a nifty little pointed toe in smooth fabric that helps you slip tight compression garments up your leg with ease (only with a open toe; you pull the toe through the toe hole). I use this to put on the calf wraps I wear most of the time, which fit and are a lot cheaper than these: I recommend the Thirty48 Compression Plus calf wraps. ; two pairs; Fastest possible recovery by increasing the oxygen supply to the muscles; Great for Running, Biking, Hiking, Basketball, Soccer, Crossfit, Traveling; Money-back guarantee on pants (they're made for sport; choose black/red or blue/blue for that level of compression, other colors run a little smaller) or Brite Leafs Sheer Graduated Compression Strap Trud Support Sleeves - a pair (large , beige ) for lightweight hosiery (although the reviews are correct, they're tight, so go up a half inch earlier if you like tight stockings, bigger if you want them looser - and use the smaller sizes above next to the photos, no larger size in "Product Description" section below).
