After our kids outgrew their bikes and we stopped carrying all four of us in the trunk of a Thule (it was real agony** every time), my wife and I risk two of them because we believe we're sacrificing a comfortable ride or fragile construction in exchange for convenience. And I'm happy to report: THERE WERE NO VICTIMS. They're incredibly comfortable - two of them fit in the back of our Honda CRV with space and without the seats falling off - and we're totally impressed with the build quality, from the frame to the tyres, from the gears to the brakes. . Definitely built to last. And the best? The ride is the same as a regular bike (or enough for two random riders anyway). We smile every time we take them out because it's like, "Oh, that was easy.” It made cycling that much more fun.
