These filters really help keep the smell of kitchen compost in the compost bin instead of spreading all over the kitchen. I finally got "wise" and about 2 years after I got the compost bin I started putting a bag of vegetables in it from the grocery store and it keeps the rest of the compost bin nice and clean! Yes! I think I've only replaced these filters once or twice, and I think my compost box lasted at least 2, maybe 3 years!
