This is a very stable table. An assembly is not required. I had no transport damage as corner protection was placed on the table. On the back of the table is a note that mentions the gang. The table has been redesigned so ignore it. The legs have a zipper. Instructions. 1) Find the legs that are on top and lift to open. Pull firmly until it snaps onto both legs. 2) Rotate the table 180° and repeat. 3) Use a flathead screwdriver or pocket knife to close. Gently insert it into the locking point while pushing down. Repeat for the other 3 legs. #3 may not need to be performed after the table is cracked.
