I work in a bar and I have already seen the possibility of damaging the screen; Slam your Apple Watch on a stainless steel counter or elsewhere. I'm used to wearing G-shocks and while the shock protection is lower on the Casio, this one did its job admirably. I wouldn't put the watch through the same abuse, but I feel like the bracelet helped keep the device running. My only issue is the breathability of the strap. So when I wash my hands, which I do a lot, I have to crawl under the straps to dry. A little uncomfortable, but not critical. I haven't seen how sweat affects the strap but I suspect if you wash it after a workout it will get better. Update: still holding up well. See no damage from sweat or disinfectant. There was a problem with it causing a rash, probably due to moisture and bacteria. This will happen to most carriers regardless. Just wash them well after you work up a sweat and make sure you wear them loose enough to allow for some ventilation.
