This shark bite device cost me quite a lot to install. I was pleased with the easy installation. It goes from the well to the pre-filter to the 2nd stage. My water is dirty so I change filters every 4-5 weeks. You will see a noticeable drop in water pressure when they run out. I want an auto-release version of the pre-filter. Filters last much longer. After about a month I can scrape about 1/8 inch of dirt off the sediment filter in this unit. Filters are cheap considering the quality of the water you get from the well when you use them.
