I use this in my 24 gun safe to lower humidity, works well, increased humidity from 55 to 43 percent. I had to recharge the beads after a few days. I don't recommend leaving them in the tube if you plan to bake beads. You can think of a better idea, but whatever you do, it seems important to have as many beads in the air at once as possible rather than all in an open-topped jar. I really have no complaints, they work well, the hardest part is just figuring out how to put the beads in to ensure enough contact with the air.
