My 10 year old loves this coat and so do I because it is warm. I ordered size 11/12 and now it fits my daughter. i would get up The stain on the wool is washed well with a damp towel. Good for boys or girls. I hope to give my daughter's coat to my son in a few years. It has a dark blue color and is suitable for any gender. I bought a coat of the same brand/style as an adult and returned it as unflattering on a woman but perfect for my daughter. It seems stylish to me. Like the length.
