I purchased these for my teenage daughter at the end of May. My daughter wore them a few times and said they were not comfortable, but I assumed she needed to break them in. She packed them for a Girl Scout trip at the end of June. The back strap broke on the shoe during the trip. I can't remember exactly what broke, but it was not repairable. Her troop leader bought her some shoes at discount store to make it through the trip. These were mainly used for walking on trails or roads so the issue was definitely with the construction of the shoe. Similar name brand shoes may cost more but are worth it since they last longer. Do not recommend.
