Yesterday I had the first opportunity to use this on ice on my car windows. It delivered as promised and was very easy to use. With the first hit, the plastic claws tore away the heavy ice. When reversing, the brass blade threw the remaining ice onto the windshield. It all worked very naturally and made the awkward job quick and easy. I have other brass single blade scrapers that are great for removing light ice and snow. (I've used brass-bladed scrapers for many years and have never scratched the glass on my cars.) This one differs in that it cleverly combines a heavy-duty plastic ice scraper with a very efficient brass-bladed scraper. No need to remove heavy ice with plastic claws and come back later to remove the ice from the glass. This block combines them together and shoots in two steps. Something we all need here in the great white north.
